As a constructive series of actions following our successful AIDS Action, Safer Sex Workshops targetting specific audiences in the district are to be run as a means of increasing the knowledge base of HIV information in the community.
The first workshop was held on 14 May 2008 to community representatives. The BHWC Committee aims to train facilitatorsto increase knowledge of the sexual transmission of HIV amongst youth, church groups, women, men, gay and lesbian, trans people, farm workers, unions, farmers and others.
